Description
Egbo Egbesi is the Yoruba name for the root of the African Peach tree (Nauclea latifolia, also known as Sarcocephalus latifolius). In Igbo, it is called Ubulu inu, and in Hausa, it is known as Tabasiya. It is often referred to as “African Quinine” due to its potent ability to treat severe fevers and infections.
